The IT Grid Management group collaborates closely with the other matrixed groups within the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) Product Team, providing engineering, design, implementation, and support for the ADMS suite of applications. ADMS suite includes the ADMS technology platform, Distribution Management System (DMS), Outage Management System (OMS) and other peripheral applications that support Grid Management.

Job Description / Responsibilities

The IT Grid Management Team Lead is a first-line supervisor for the IT Grid Management Team, and will also perform the role of scrum master for the ADMS Product Team, under the overall guidance of the ADMS Product Manager, and Product governance team. This scope of accountability for this role includes, but is not limited to

  • Leading and supervising the IT Grid Management analysts (subset of the ADMS Product Team)
  • Performing the Scrum master role for the ADMS Product Team
  • Applying journey-level knowledge, expertise and experience relating to OMS and ADMS, provide application lifecycle services for
    • the ADMS Suite of Applications including OMS, DMS, Outage Map, CatCrew, Storm Dashboard, Storm Hub
    • ADMS integrations with various systems SAP, AMI, ServiceSuite, Data Lake, etc.
    • other applications currently supported by the IT Grid Management team
  • Participating in 24x7 oncall duty, in a 6 to 8 week rotation cycle for the mission-critical ADMS suite of applications

    Qualifications:
  • Requires a bachelor s degree preferably in an Information Technology field and typically has 7 or more years applicable exempt working experience with at least 1 at the IT Technical Sr Analyst II level or the equivalent. Less than a bachelor s degree may be acceptable if accompanied by other technical training and extensive experience (internal/external) in positions that demonstrate required abilities and performance.
  • Experience working in Agile Projects, and a solid understanding of the role of a scrum master. Scrum Master certification desired. If not already certified, a commitment to get certified within 6 months of assuming the role.

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Expertise and experience relating to OMS, and ADMS suite of applications, and business processes
  • Previous experience providing 24x7 oncall support for mission critical / life safety systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to operate with significant autonomy and latitude to meet business objectives
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability and experience to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting as well as independently with minimal error and guidance
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with an ability to understand the big picture
  • Experience managing Human Resource activities, including interviewing, selection & hiring, and conducting performance assessments

Hours and Travel

Meet travel requirements of the position. The IT Grid Management team will provide 24x7 support for the critical ADMS suite of applications that have life, safety, and other significant implications to coworkers, customers, and general public. As a lead on the team, this position must be willing to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime. Position is expected to participate in 24x7 oncall duty, in a 6 to 8-week rotation cycle.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
