Summary:
The Director of Admissions is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the admissions department to ensure budgeted new student start goals are made and is the direct supervisor for all Associate Directors of Admissions, Admissions Representatives and front desk personnel. His/her time will be dedicated to daily operations, and the supervision, coaching and development of the direct reports. At times, due to staffing fluctuations, the Director of Admission may also be required to handle the enrollment of new students. Therefore, the Director of Admissions must possess both strong leadership and management skills, as well as strong and effective sales abilities. This position also partners with the Financial Aid department to ensure all newly enrolled prospective students complete requirements for proper financial packaging.
This position is responsible for the overall success of the Admissions department and will ensure that all company and regulatory agency policies and procedures are followed. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Executive Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: oEnsure that all policies and procedures outlined in the Admissions manuals and established by the campus and company are followed at all times
oAchieve assigned budgeted start goals for the campus and ensure performance metrics are met for the department
oAssist in training, coaching and evaluating admissions staff
oUtilize run rates to meet objectives, track results, and adjust to outcomes
oAdhere strictly to accrediting agency and U.S. Department of Education guidelines for proprietary school admissions
oEnsure the Admissions department is on a path of ongoing success
oEnsure that best practices are implemented
oEnsure that department is generating and converting required number of campus generated leads
oParticipate in the hiring, training, and evaluation of all Admissions staff
oVerify that all Admissions personnel are properly trained and take steps to improve the levels of proficiency; retrain as needed
oManage scheduled weekly admissions meetings; hold informal admissions meetings as necessary
oReview individual plans daily and weekly
oConduct daily stand ups for quick group training (as needed)
oGenerate daily, weekly and monthly department reports and analyze to set strategic plans to meet assigned Admissions' goals
oEnsure that the morale of the Admissions department is positive and take necessary steps to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and energy
oProvide input on enrollment goals and the needs of the admissions department to senior management
oAssist in the development of an annual student recruitment plan
oDevelop and maintain an understanding of the market and all competitive forces
oMonitor inquiry flow, source, response times, and volume
oProvide input to the corporate team on the effectiveness of the marketing campaign
oParticipate in the planning of events that build relations with new inquiries.
oParticipate in campus meetings and committees as necessary
oPerform other duties as assigned
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
This position manages the Admissions department, Financial Aid department, and front desk personnel.
Qualifications:

Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor degree required. Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales management experience required. Must include experience with coaching and developing competencies of a sales team, and managing and mentoring small to mid-size sales teams, developing sales strategies and meeting sales goals. Must pass a background investigation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
