Department Summary The G&PA; Business Analyst is responsible for assisting and advancing the business plan deployment process for Governmental & Public Affairs, in support of the company's overall strategy and goals. The candidate should have a proven record of performance and trusted professional credibility and possess strong analytical thinking, collaboration and teaming skills and understand the SAP budgeting process. The ideal candidate will foster and exemplify a customer-focused, data-driven culture. The position requires an individual be able to work independently and with all levels within the organization, including senior management. Job Description/Responsibilities
Work with leadership to track, document and analyze G&PA; work activities, milestones and accomplishments as they relate to achieving departmental and company strategic goals - 45%
Oversee G&PA; financial planning and reporting - 15%
Oversee visual management for Governmental & Public Affairs - 10%
Ensure cross-functional alignment of business plans and metrics - 10%
Provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders - 10%
Support additional projects or G&PA; teams as needed - 10%
Employee will oversee planning and reporting for G&PA;'s $14.5M budget
Employee will interact with leadership ranging from mid-level managers to executives Requirements/Qualifications Bachelors degree in business administration/management, finance business analytics, marketing, public policy, or other social science. Experience in business plan deployment, goal setting, financial planning, business analysis.
Strong analytical skills
Experience using data to drive decision-making
Knowledgeable in the company's strategies and change philosophies
Familiar with functional organization, roles and responsibilities within company
Excellent presentation skills with solid communication capabilities, both oral and written The position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates education and experience.
