Our client is a leading global manufacturer of multi-spindle automatics and 5-axis CNC grinding machines, and is represented on several continents by subsidiaries. They are currently seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for our grinding machines.
Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
Proficient at estimating, bidding, and negotiating new machine installation projects
Provides effective sales presentations and technical guidance
Oversees job details throughout sales process, including managing contract documents, creating approvals and layouts, tracking to completion
Makes telephone and in-person calls to existing and prospective customers
Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations
Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers
Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints
Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends
Participates in trade shows and conventions
Able to travel to Germany as needed for training at factory
5+ years? experience in sales of grinding machines
Possession of a post-secondary degree
Valid passport & Driver?s License
Candidates must possess proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with a wide variety of people with diverse backgrounds
Candidates must be able to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
Self-motivated individuals who have the ability to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
