Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol - Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations - Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register or POS system - Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service - Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or banquets Skills:
- Experience in the food industry or food service is preferred - Ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change - Knowledge of sales techniques to upsell products - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Strong hospitality skills, including the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests - Understanding of food safety regulations and practices - Proficiency in cash handling procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Note:
