To thrive in this role you must be flexible and radiate positivity as you work with the JDL team to promote the service-minded culture and vision of JDL.
Every day you will interact with patrons in varying ways.
This will require professionalism, patience, and a solid understanding of JDL policies and procedures.
A successful Library Assistant I (LAI) will have strong technology skills as well as an enthusiasm for serving the community.
In conversations with patrons and coworkers the Library Assistant I (LAI) is expected to be JDL's biggest advocate.
We are seeking someone that uses customer service talents to build relationships with patrons and the community.
Someone that has taken the initiative, and used good time management skills to support their coworkers.
Someone with problem solving aptitudes and the ability to take direction and lead with optimism.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
