Manager, Surgical Reprocessing - Surgical Services

In this key role, you will oversee the operations of our central sterilization function and play a pivotal part in delivering safe and effective care to our perioperative patients.
GENERAL SUMMARYManages the operations of the central sterilization function.
Plans and monitors the acquisition, preparation, and distribution of instrumentation and supplies required for safe and effective delivery of care to perioperative patients.
Provides management oversight for the development of safety practices, quality control of sterilization processes and programs and overall compliance requirements.
Ensures that the central sterilization area is integrated and coordinated with patient needs and the needs of other health care providers.
Develops collaborative relationships within Surgical Services to ensure central sterilization practices and procedures meet the needs of interdepartmental staff, physicians and varied patient populations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 10 years of experience and certification.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience with increasing scope of responsibility.
Recommended Skills Instrumentation Passionate Quality Management Patient Safety Sterilization Regulatory Compliance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
