$10,000 Sign-on Bonus! Henry Ford Allegiance Addiction Recovery Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Behavioral Services Therapist (LPC).
As a leading substance abuse treatment center, we are committed to helping adults overcome addiction to drugs and/or alcohol.
Our personalized approach focuses on empowering individuals in their treatment journey and addressing all aspects of life, including physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
GENERAL
Summary:
Provides evidence based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team.
Also provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed.
Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master's (or Doctoral) degree in counseling from a national or regionally-accredited institute of higher education, including an internship and coursework on human behavior and development, effective counseling strategies, ethical practice and pertinent core knowledge areas and experience.
Completion of a minimum of 3000 hours of post-master's degree supervised clinical experienced performed within two years.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Licensed Professional Counselor.
